Feeling blue, so what do I do?
There are so many reasons why one may not feel great. Possibly a key to feeling better or moving in that direction is what I'll call 'nipping it in the bud' and trying to work with it and through it right away. According to Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (at least as I understand it) there are 3 ways to deal with pain or "meeting the unwanted":
Do Something (change it up somehow)
Distract (redirect attention)
Lean In (pay attention to it, notice it, make space for it and then let it go).
Consider talking to someone and consider asking for help.
Our son Simon was there for others but for himself not so much. He did his best to keep his pain inside. Maybe he felt he didn't deserve to be helped or require any attention from others. I hope you don't think that way. You are worth it, worth loving and certainly worth whatever help is helpful.
I have seen others start loving themselves and it seems by doing that their whole life opened up around them. They started living by simply affirming to themselves that they are worth it. I hope you can love yourself and begin to see new perspectives and new wonder right now.
Each moment that we see is a world premier that took nearly 14 billion years to create. Try and see it.
